Fleur’s Story

๐ŸŽ‰ FLEUR IS HOME ๐ŸŽ‰

Fleur was already exempt when she briefly escaped through an open gate, she had a scuffle with another dog which resulted in one puncture wound and ยฃ150 vet bill for the other dog.

Her owner was immediately on the scene, he called her in and she ran straight back into the garden. As a result she and the other family dog were seized by Gwent police.

As the event had been captured on the owners CCTV, the family were able to prove that the other dog was not present at the incident, this meant he was returned home quickly.

After the court ordered that Fleur could return home she is now back in time for Christmas, just over 6 months from the day she was seized. She certainly looks happy to be back and has slotted straight back in as though she’d never been away.

Thanks to Four Legs Law – part of Ison Harrison Solicitors for preparing the case as a legally aided case. Also to Bethany Long – Dog Expert Witness for the independent assessment of Fleur and the family home.

Happy Christmas Fleur and family๐ŸŽ„
